Course Description: The NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health is a qualification designed to help those who have responsibility for giving routine, day-to-day advice on health, safety and welfare in construction work. This programme of study is based on the philosophy that an understanding of health and safety in construction needs to be underpinned by an understanding of the general principles of occupational health and safety that apply to all workplaces. For this reason the programme comprises of two modules:
Parts A1 & A2 : a module covering general health and safety issues (identical to parts A1 and A2 of the National General Certificate).
Parts B & C: a module covering health and safety in construction work, including a practical assessment of a construction site.
