New CLAiT is a beginners†qualification
which teaches and develops basic IT skills and boosts user confidence in using IT. It also provides a broad foundation for anyone wishing to gain further and more specific qualifications â€" for example CLAiT
Plus or ECDL. Students can choose
single unit certification, or for an overall Certificate, Unit 1 plus 2 other units are required. For a Diploma, Unit 1 plus 4 other units are required. Choose from five separate units: Word Processing/Managing
Files; Spreadsheets, Graphs and Charts;
Databases; Desktop Publishing; PowerPoint Presentations; The Internet and Email.
