Course Content:
This course is to provide learners with the skills and qualification they need to work in the catering industry. National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) are made up of units of competence and all units need to be successfully completed to obtain the nationally recognised qualification. Areas covered include cooking skills, production methods and food hygiene. All training will take place within the workplace.

How will I be Assessed? :
Takes place in a variety of ways: observation within the workplace, collection of written testimonies, oral questioning, a formal assessment of knowledge.
