Course Details

Prospective Candidates should be working in a paid or voluntary capacity within a primary, secondary or special school. There are 7 units to complete consisting of: 5 mandatory units and 2 optional units. The units covered include: Mandatory units: Supporting Learning Activities Children's Development Positive Relationships Effective Support For Colleagues Keeping Children Safe Optional units: Literacy Numeracy Special Needs ICT

Qualifications required:
There are no formal entry requirements for candidates, although experience of supporting pupils in a school environment is necessary. Prospective candidates will be required to attend an information/interview session prior to the commencement of the programme and be in possession of a CRB check.
