Level: Beginners

Course content:
This class is for people who have never done piano before, or have studied a little and need more confidence to play simple pieces, or are returning after years of not playing. You will be coached to your own level and pace in a supportive group environment
The learner will study from a recommended tutor book and other music when necessary, Other handouts on specific technical matters covered in class will be supplied by the tutor.

Course Structure:
Lecture, demonstration and Master Class methods.

Course resources:
Piano, stool and whiteboard in teaching room, practice keyboards in nearby room. Own books

Assessment:
Initial at first class, formative throughout and summative at end of term

Fee 1: Standard fee;
Fee 2: Aged 60+ years fee
Students in receipt of an income-based benefit pay £20 per course per term.
You will need to bring proof of age and any benefits when you enrol.
You DO NOT have to pay a college registration fee for these courses, but you may have to pay for additional course materials.Materials costs:
