This is a 2 year course.

Course Description
This qualification is for experience play workers wishing to gain a Level 3 qualification or for those who are new to Playwork but have experience of working with children in other settings. The course content includes managing a Playwork setting; the role of the playworker; multi-agency working and techniques observation and recording methods.

How is the Qualification Achieved ?
A range of assessment methods are used including a multiple choice question paper and assignments. Each assignment will require a substantial amount of research work.

On Successful Completion of this Course
Successful candidates will be qualified to work as a leader/senior playworker in all play settings. Candidates may also progress to higher level qualifications e.g. Foundation Degree in Playwork.
