ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 24 to be eligible for funding and be employed within the Plumbing and Domestic Heating industry.

Applicants should have Grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English and should possess the necessary motivation and commitment to study. All applicants will be required to attend an interview and undertake an initial assessment.
PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE
This units of competence leading to accrediation at the appropriate level that students will study include:

Safety, Key Plumbing Principles, Common Plumbing Processes, Cold Water Systems, Domestic Hot Water Systems, Sanitation Systems, Central Heating Systems, Electrical Supply, Sheet Lead Weathering, Effectivve Working Relationships, Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
PROGRESSION/CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES
On successful completion, students can progress onto NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Domestion Heating.
ASSESSMENT STRUCTURE Online multiple choice exam and practical assessments plus and assessor visits the workplace monthly to assess qualification progress
