Course aims:
This course is aimed at the qualified Reflexologist who wishes to extend their reflexology techniques to include foot, hand and ear reflexology.
Additional Reflexology techniques include Ingham and Taiwanese Method and the use of Oriental Sticks.
Successful completion will enable you to work in leisure centres, health clubs, spas, salons, cruise liners, hotels, or in a self-employed capacity, at home or overseas.
You may also wish to continue study in associated therapies such as Swedish Massage or Indian Head Massage which are also offered as part-time courses.

This course includes the following Units:
  • Assessing and Advising client for Reflexology
  • Providing Additional Reflexology
  • Interpersonal Skills with Clients
  • Health and Safety

The college has excellent facilities for both theory and practical work.
These include 3 large well-equipped and recently modernised Beauty/Holistic salons and a large reception area that serves both Hair and Beauty.

Tutors:
The Beauty and Holistic Department is managed by Georgia Christoforou, a highly skilled Beauty and Holistic Therapist and an enthusiastic and experienced teacher.
The Beauty and Holistic team is staffed by highly motivated tutors that are passionate about their subjects and have excellent links with employers.

Assessment: Written Assignments, Written and Practical Assessments, Case Studies Portfolios & Research work.

You must hold the VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Reflexology (or equivalent) to be eligible for this course.

Progression and links:
There are various courses that the Reflexologist may want to attend in order to further their career. This includes Body Massage, Indian Head Massage & aromatherapy.
This qualification enables the therapist to work in industry as a therapist, a manager or clinic owner.

Work experience opportunities:
Students are encouraged to work in industry & to be applying treatments outside their class time

Home/EU students tuition fees (per year) : 200

International tuition fees (per year) : 660

If you are under 19 on 31st August 2009 you do not have to pay Tuition Fees, the College Registration, Awarding Body Registration or Exam/Assessment Fees. However, you will have to pay any Resource Fees. Under 19s entering Higher Education will have to pay full costs.
