This is a theory course and contains no practical work. The course lasts for 2 years, culminating in the externally set RHS Level 2 Certificate examination. There are practice examinations through the course in preparation for the final RHS exam. Some commitment to homework will be needed.

  • Garden planning
  • The root environment and plant nutrition
  • Protected cultivation
  • Plant selection, establishment and maintenance
  • Plant health problems
