WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE COURSE?
You should be over 16 years of age and have sufficient general education to undertake a Level 3 qualification e.g. have achieved GCSE or equivalent at Grade C or above in English or have achieved the CACHE Teaching Assistant award Level 2 or equivalent, previous experience of working in a school will be considered. You must be working in a school in a voluntary or paid capacity at Foundation stage or at key stage 1 - 4.
A satisfactory (CRB) police check is required in order to complete this course.

You will be expected to work for a minimum of 1 day per week in a primary school with children following an area of Key Stages 1 - 4.

ASSESSMENT
You will be assessed through written assignments.

WHERE COULD THE COURSE LEAD?
When you have completed your award you may seek employment as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in schools.
