Learn the fundamentals, including cutting fabrics, measuring seams and sewing the items together.
Three session course where you will learn how to measure, cut and sew patchwork using scissors and rotary cutter. Learning how to sew it by hand and machine. You will first look at basic squares and then you will go onto cutting shapes such as triangles and hexagons etc. Your finished patchwork can then be made into a simple cushion cover.
This course includes 2 free fat quarters. You will need to bring further fabrics to use in sessions 2 and 3. For a funky personal touch, why not bring some clothes or sheets that you’ve been meaning to recycle. and you can add them to the materials that we provide. (Materials should not be stretchy) Some fabrics and threads will be available to buy during the sessions.
