For those who want to develop an understanding of the nature of people management, its complexities and challenges.

What will I study ?

Course content includes; The characteristics of good managers and what makes them good. Motivation, getting the best out of people, looking at different motivation theories and how they can be used in practice to get the best from a team. Communication, ensuring you are getting the right message across and creating a positive environment for a team to work in and delegation, to differentiate between importance and urgency to identify what to delegate and to whom, whilst empowering and motivating a team.

How will I be assessed ?

There is no exam on this course. The trainer will assess learners on an individual basis and support them if required.

What qualifications could I achieve ?

A college certificate of attendance will be issued on completion of the course.
