A Personal Licence enables you to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol where there is a Premises Licence - an essential if you wish to run a pub, restaurant, club, bar or off-licence. In order to get it you must first obtain the Personal Licence Holder qualification. The British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) is the recognised training body of the licensing trade and through their awarding body, (BIIAB), you can acquire the Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH)
How is it assessed?
A 40 question multi choice examination, with 40 minutes allowed for completion. To pass, 28 out of the 40 questions (70%) must be answered correctly.
