Personnel Practice (CPP) CIPD Certificate Level 3

About the course:
The Chartered Institute for Personnel Development (CIPD) is the professional body for those involved in the management and development of people. The Certificate in Personnel Practice (CPP) is designed to introduce you to a wide range of practical skills required by today's HR officers, line managers and clerical staff.

This qualification is for personnel assistants, administrators and HR officers who support key aspects of the HR function within their organisation. It's also a valuable qualification for line managers, supervisors and team leaders who want to gain a recognised qualification.

Course Content:
The CPP incorporates the following four units:
  • Human resource plans and organizational context
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Training and development
  • Performance management and employee relations


Learning Style:
The CPP consists of 120 hours learning activity in addition to which you may need to allow approx 120 hours for individual study/assignments.

Assessment:
The CPP is an assignment based qualification that requires you to complete:
  • Four work-based or work related assignments (one for each module) - two written (1500 - 2000 words) and two skills based
  • A work based project
  • A Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record and plan

There are no formal examinationsfor this course.
