Photography Level 3 Extended Diploma

• This exciting and up-to-date course will equip you with technical knowledge and creative skills to pursue a rewarding career as a photographer
• There are strong links between the Photography Department and the Fashion and Make-up for Stage, Screen and Fashion Departments, so you can work collaboratively with their students in the fully equipped studio
• You can also create your portraiture, still life and advertising images in the studio
• You will be taught by specialist lecturers who are experienced practitioners with a broad knowledge of working in professional photography

• The underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills for a broad range of areas in the Photography industry
• You will be working mainly with digital photography, exploring areas which are of particular interest to you, such as studio and location, fashion, beauty and make-up photography, landscape, portraiture, social documentary, advertising, fine art, etc.
• Essential Skills for Progression in English and Maths to support your basic education and career development

• You should have your own camera which, ideally, will be a DSLR
• The College has a range of Nikon cameras, lenses and tripods available for short term loan (i.e. during the day or overnight only)
• Photography studios fully equipped to professional standards
• Computer suite with Adobe Creative Cloud, Lightroom and Photoshop
• State of the art printer facilities
