This is a practical masterclass to explore repertoire and examine interpretation. It aims to help you see the music in the big stylistic concept while at the same time helping you to focus on particular details to achieve a successful performance of the particular works.

The class is limited to 9 performers who will each play for 2 x 20 minute sessions, one session per class. Please consider these time constraints when choosing your repertoire as you may wish to present just short section/movement of your piece to allow time to perform it in full and then work on it with the tutor. This year's masterclass is taught by Katya Apekisheva [external website].
