What will I learn?
This intensive course is for people who are currently studying construction at the Tottenham Centre, or who are not working in the plumbing industry, or who are unemployed. It includes units such as health and safety, key principles, common plumbing processes, cold water systems, above ground discharge pipework, central heating system pipework, electrical supply and earth continuity systems.

How will I be taught?
The learning programme includes workshop practical plumbing skills training and practical assessment, plumbing theory tuition and plumbing theory assessment, key skills tuition including numeracy, literacy and ICT.

How will I be assessed?
The course is assessed through practical assessments and computer based multiple choice exams.

What could I do next?
You could progress to Year two of the same qualification then onto the Technical Certificate City & Guilds 6129-3 Plumbing Level 3 or NVQ Level 2, depending on your Employment Status.
