This course will teach you the basics of public relations. You will learn what good PR can achieve, and what to expect of a career in PR. By the end of the course you will be able to write a press release, devise a PR plan and evaluate the PR campaigns of other organisations. You will learn what journalists want and what makes a good story as well as, how their world and the world of PR is changing with the rise of new digital channels and the citizen journalist.
