The press agent is someone who takes care of relations with the press in a company, mostly for promotional purposes; Press officer; advertising agent, better known as a press officer. The press agent (press agent in English) is above all a journalist who, instead of working for a newspaper, works for an organization (company, institution, association, politician, famous person) helping it to communicate better. We can define it as a sort of intermediary to which journalists turn to on the one hand, for information that they will use in their articles and services, and on the other, organizations, which need to communicate well. This is why he is almost always in close contact with the top management. First start the day by monitoring the media, preparing the press review on topics of interest to the organization, verifying the correctness of the information and correcting it if necessary. To disseminate news concerning the organization, he writes press releases, bearing in mind the criteria of journalistic newsworthiness, and organizes press conferences. During the day she follows the news agencies, monitors the internet, provides clarifications to journalists, meets their requests (requests for interviews, data, support materials) and takes care of the medialist. He interfaces with the top management of the organization and with the marketing department, in order to coordinate external communication.
