Is this course right for me?

The Certificate in Professional Development is a unique leadership development programme giving you certification and accreditation with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) & the University of Plymouth (UOP)

What will I be learning?

You will study 3 CMI units:'Personal Development as a Manager','Being a Leader' & 'Project Management'. You will select 2 UOP Modules from a choice of the following: Marketing, Human Resources, Finance & Management.

How will I learn?

You will attend fortnightly Workshops where you will study in a group setting. Lectures and Seminars will be accompanied by work based assignments & examinations in some modules.

What else might I want to know?

You will register as a student member of the CMI giving you access to a range of study resources. You will also enrol as a student with UOP.
The COPD will give you 60 UOP credits towards a foundation degree in Business.

What can I do afterwards?

You can progress to further management qualifications or undertake further modules with the University of Plymouth to gain credits towards a Foundation Degree.
