· Course Overview: · The Diploma for Progression: Health, Care and Education is specifically designed for adults who have been away from study for some time. The course aims to encourage learners to develop academically and gain confidence. It is suitable for people who wish to update their CV with a view to finding employment or changing their job while those who wish to progress to level three and then on to university can use the Diploma for Progression as a first step.

Entry Requirements: · An intermediate course suitable for those who have at least 4 GCSEs at grades D or a relevant/equivalent Level 1 qualification. This could be a BTEC Introductory Diploma, a City and Guilds qualification, an NVQ Level 1, a GNVQ Foundation or relevant work experience. Applicants with no formal qualifications will be considered subject to appropriate work or life experience which would benefit them on the course.
