At the end of the course delegates will be able to: Summarise the key legislation in fire prevention and the implications of getting it wrong. Explain their own roles and responsibilities in relation to fire safety (including recognising issues that they should report to management). Identify (number) common workplace fire hazards. Recognise (number) different types of extinguisher and their uses. Conduct a (number) step basic visual inspection of fire extinguishers. Suitable for: Fire safety awareness should be undertaken by all staff, managers and directors in any business with premises - regardless of size. (Please note this course is an awareness course and does not constitute fire marshal training)
