Course Title: Risk Assessment

Overview:

The course will benefit all carers who work within a care setting. The course will provide an awareness of hazards within a working environment and client's own homes.

Course Content:

During the course you will learn:

• Legislation in relation to health and safety,
• To be able to identify risks and hazards in the workplace,
• The five steps to risk assessment,
• The carer's roles and responsibilities.

Course Duration: Half a day

Certificate:

At the end of the session, learners will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance which can be referenced to the Health and Social Care NVQ's.
