What's it all about?:
Sales is an essential skill in most working environments. Whether you consider yourself a born sales person, or you are feel that you would benefit from addition sales skills, this course is for you. Utilising a range of practical workshops in conjunction with assessment and coaching methods, our aim is to help you improve your performance and confidence to sell, and for you to gain a nationally recognised qualification. This is one of the first courses of its kind in the South West and is beneficial to anyone who deals with sales or in a customer focused environment which involves selling to businesses or consumers.
This level 2 programme is specifically for front line sales staff, however we use a diagnostic process to identify which is the right level for you.
Progression:
After successful completion of this course you may progress to other level 3 qualifications at the College.

Course Overview
What does the course involve?:
This programme offers you a number of opportunities to improve your performance in sales. You will be able to select from a number of professional workshops to learn and improve skills essential to successful selling, delivered either on College site, or at your workplace depending on the number of students. In addition, you will receive ongoing assessment in the workplace through an NVQ programme that, when successfully completed will provide you with a nationally recognised qualification in sales. Through out the course your tutor will also be able to offer coaching to help hone your skills.

Are there any exams?:
Assessment is delivered entirely in the workplace. The qualification has over 18 units, from which you will be required to select six units to meet your specific needs. Assessment involves gathering a range of work-based evidence to show how you are working at the standards set in the selected units. A range of assessment methods can be used to suit your working environment. You are fully supported by your tutor in the collection of evidence. There is no exam for this course.
