It's a great course and I would recommend it to others.

Steven Morrison uses his own experience of the doors with over 23 years and he still works the doors in Glasgow, but he uses our experience as well to cover the training to bring the course to life and make it hit home, especially the videos where you see what happens if things go wrong. Brilliant!
The physical Intervention course was absolutely brilliant as well, it made me think, but most importantly I would use the techniques I learned because they were simple to carry out and easy to remember.
The 2 course handbooks were brilliant, as well as all of the handouts I received, I can safely say I got my monies worth and a hell of a lot more, brilliant.
Pro Active Safety Training is owned and directed by Steven Morrison who is the guy who trains you as well. I would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent company to everyone else looking to have an indepth knowledge of the doors and the law of self defence. The trainer even shows you how to claim back money from the taxman for your sia badge. Their is ongoing support if you need it as well.← | → -
I have recently attended the door supervisors course with Steven Morrison who is a real life doorman with over 23 years on the doors. The course covered Working in the Private Security Industry, Door Supervisor Specialist module, Conflict Management and Physical Intervention Skills and the law in relation to Reasonable Force in Scots Law (which every doorman should know), It left me wanting more information on the subject. of self defence law, my brain it seems had just been switched on to something new and exiting as I found my self craving even more knowledge on the subject.
Absolutely brilliant course, and trainer, highly recommended.
Many thanks Steven
