Course Structure
- Cooking simple meals, snacks and desserts.
- Health & Safety and hygiene.
- Food preparation.
- The importance of clearing away.
Upon successful completion of this course students will achieve a recognised certificate.
Assessments/Examinations
Students will complete a portfolio of work.
Cost / Equipment
Tuition is free to those who can provide evidence of being in receipt of income support
£35.00 Material costs.
£2.00 per week to cover the cost of shopping and food.
£15.00 Registration & Certificates
All fees to be paid to the tutor at the start of the course. All other fees are the responsibility of the applicant including refreshments, visits etc.

Where 1:1 support is an identified need, a carer from the home may be required. Places are limited to applicants who have not attended College previously or those who have attendee for 2-3 years
