Who is this course for?
Students who have completed Singing for Absolute Beginners or who have equivalent experience

What previous knowledge/experience are required?
Completion of for Singing for Absolute Beginners equivalent experience

What is the level of the course?
Lower intermediate

What will the course cover and what can I expect to do by the end of it?
- basic vocal techniques e.g. rhythm, pitch, musicanship, a whide range of songs - performance skills and enjoy their voice and build confidence.

What teaching and learning methods will be used on the course?
Group singing exercises - pitch, harmony and rhythmic development; demonstration and listening

How will we assess your progress on the course?
Through Individual Learning Plans, observation, reflection, discussion and constant feedback. Through performance.

What type of qualification will passing this course give me?
This course will lead to a Working Men's College Certificate.

What extra study/practice do we expect you to do outside the class?
Students are expected to practice on a weekly basis.

What can I do after completing this course?
Progress to Singing level 2, or Learning to Play the Blues classes Other performing arts courses, Jam sessions, singers nights and gigs.

Are there any other costs? (e.g. materials, equipment or books I need to buy before or during the course)
Bottle of water, pencil and paper.

Are there any other requirements?
You are required to attend every lesson on time.
