Skills for Working Life - Entry Level - EDEXCEL Certificate
This course is designed to foster independence and develop your personal, social, health, moral and citizenship skills. You will take part in a range of activities and practice skills essential for adult life.

What will I study?
You will work through job-related and key skills units, which are set at three levels to suit all levels of abilities. The course is designed to develop your skills and prepare you for employment or further study. The EDEXCEL course requires you to complete some form of work placement. We have links with a number of agencies and have a comprehensive work placement programme helping to establish a phased transition from college to employment.

How is the course assessed?
You will build a portfolio of your work, which is assessed by college staff and external moderation.

What enrichment will there be?
Activities include:
· Trips and visits.
· Guest speakers.

What could I do next?
When you have completed this course, you may be able to get a job or you may choose to progress to another course.
