Society, Health and Development Diploma Foundation Level 1

What will you be learning?
This Diploma is part of the new national qualifications designed to enable students to develop a range of academic knowledge and vocational skills within an employment sector.

At this level you will gain a broad understanding of the sector and the way it works. The 6 main thems studied are: The sectors in context; principles and values in practice; partnership working; communication and information sharing; personal and professional development in the work environment; safeguarding and protecting individuals and society.

What happens when you have finished?
You can progress onto a relevant Level 2 course if you achieve a merit or distinction grade.
