Course programme

Bespoke stress management training to reduce staff sickness, churn rate and increase efficency. Price is total cost (not per delegate).

Stress at work is the leading cause of absenteeism and not managing stress has a colossal economic and human cost*. Managing stress at work is a government (HSE) legal requirement and stress management training will make a real difference to your organsiation in these stressful times.

Stress Management Training Course Outline

The workshop will open with discussion of the nature of stress and why it matters. Participants will then learn to recognise the signs of stress and interventions to manage them, including some "anti-stress" stretches, breathing exercises, the use of posture and thought processes. The "centring" process and mindfulness skills will be introduced experientially. Workload management will also be highlighted, with organisation, delegation and declines discussed.

The social nature of stress at work and the importance of communication and social support will be examined, and skills such as empathic listening practiced. Participants will learn how to spot and intervene in approaching burn-out, in themselves and team members. People taking part will not only walk away with new stress management knowledge but new practices and commitments for managing stress and applying what they have learned practically day to day in their work.

Courses can be half a day, one day or two days:
