Employees should be working in a school. A letter will be required from the head teacher confirming their status and role and that they support the employee†s attendance on the course. Candidates will be asked to take a literacy/numeracy assessment.

About the course : This course is for Employees working as Teaching Assistants in a variety of situations within the school sector with pupils aged 5-16 years. There Students must complete two optional units.

Entry requirements
After this course : Employees can develop their roles and responsibilities at work and progress onto NVQ Level 3/Foundation Degree/HLTA status.

Cost : This course is offered under the Train to Gain programme and is free to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria for the Train to Gain programme.
