Employees should be working in a school. A letter will be required from the head teacher confirming their status and role and that they support the employee†s attendance on the course. Candidates will be asked to take a literacy/numeracy assessment.

About the course : This course is for Employees working as experienced Teaching Assistants in a variety of situations/roles within the school sector with pupils aged 5-16 years will benefit from this national qualification. Optional Units :
Students must complete four optional units.


Cost : This course is offered under the Train to Gain programme and is free to individuals who don't already have a level 2 qualification. Otherwise the cost is £150.
