This course is for those candidates who have an interest in cake baking and will provide the knowledge and understanding of baking cakes, pastries and biscuits as well as equip candidates with the essential and necessary everyday skills, techniques safety and hygiene used in producing baked products.
Candidates will be able to produce decorated cupcakes, Macaroons, Battenburg cake, Bakewell tart, Carrot cake and Lemon Drizzle cake. There will also be the opportunity for candidates to suggest other baked items which may be included in the course.
