First I finished the Teaching Assistant Level 2 Course and then I chose to complete the Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Course. Because I had to follow the course at a placement, I signed me up as a volunteer in my local primary school to be in front of its reception class once a week. Later, I gained employment in another local school as an SEN Teaching Assistant, which I enjoyed a lot. Distance Learning gave me flexibility to study, and new experiences that I thought I could have never had.

Good course for an audio learner. Some of the graphics are a bit small, so you need the book as well. The practice questions IMO are better than the exam questions as the test your knowledge of the intent of MSP, not the specific words. Sadly, MSP (etc) are still hung up on specifics, so be careful - you must do VERY well on the practices to pass the exams well.

Great location. The programme was well-designed and trainers were very much experienced. The programme was linked to my company business and industry. Very easy discussions and friendly atmosphere. In terms of room for improvement, visualisation of material could be more attractive (pictures, videos) and less informative (text). Overall, thanks a lot!
