About this course
Applications are invited from individuals who already excel, in competitive tennis (LTA rating possibly), and/or demonstrate the necessary commitment and potential. This is in addition to the standard College entry requirements for the programme you have chosen.

What will I study?
The development of technical, tactical, and mental and physical skills; basic coaching skills; stroke play; principles of fitness and nutrition; psychology of competition.
Duration:
One, two or three years according to student needs and the intended period of academic study at the College.
Do I need any additional qualifications/ skills?
LTA ranking would be an added advantage. Existing club/school playing experience.
How will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment but individual progress will be monitored through competition and regular practice drills.
What can I do afterwards?
Advance your level of competition to intermediate/senior standard
Are there any additional costs involved?
There are no fees involved with the course other than any associated with the coaching awards. The course is an integral part of the student programme of full-time study whilst at the College. Students will be expected to purchase some items of College match kit.
