This three day course is suitable for those new to a training role or undertaking training as part of their management role, provides instantly useful information for practical application within the training environment. Giving an understanding of why, when and how we should train our employees this course will assist delegates in understanding how to deliver and evaluate the effectiveness of their training.

The course covers the following: -

Day 1
· The Training Cycle - From identifying the training need, through to delivery and evaluation.
· How we learn - Exploring the different learning styles and methods.
· How to build relationships with the learner - Through effective interpersonal skills, including questioning, feedback, communication and non verbal communication skills

Day 2
· How to manage the resistant learner - Selling the benefits and reaffirming the individual and business benefits
· How to get the best from the learner - Coaching techniques and styles, evaluating effectiveness of coaching

Day 3
· Delivering training - Appropriate training techniques for the workplace, styles of training, tools to use and recording systems
· Completing your cycle - Evaluating how your training has added value to the business
· Live Training Assessment and Feedback - Delivering an effective training session on a subject of their choice. The ability to practice the skills learnt during the three day course.
