About this course
Students must be at least 18 years of age and must have a minimum of 5 GCSEs, or an equivalent qualification. Overseas students who wish to embark on this programme must further demonstrate their proficiency of the English language by having an IELTS score of 6 or above.

Introduction
Candidates wishing to choose the professional route to further their studies may wish to take exams of the first five papers of the ACCAs Technician qualification.
The foundation course represents your first step towards a university degree programme. It is, therefore very important that you think before you take this step and ensure it is in the direction to pursue your intended goal. In this respect, we regularly update and introduce new programmes to reflect the current needs of the industry in the areas of accountancy and finance, business studies and computing.
Course Assessment
The course is assessed using a combination of coursework and end of term examination. The pass mark is 54%.
