The VTCT Level 2 Award in Skin Tanning Techniques (QCF) is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills to provide self tanning services to specific areas of the body (not full body).

You will learn about manual and spray tanning treatments and how to use professional tanning products, tan gun and compressor. You will also learn about the contra-indications to tanning treatments, key ingredients and the benefits of the treatment.

Course programme

A short programme of study which will equip you with the essential skills to carry out skin tanning treatments. An additional session for assessments & portfolio presentation may be required. Home study and practise is essential to complete the required units and perfect skills learnt during the day. You will develop skills to apply tan, manually and using spray method.
