WWO - Introduction to Counselling L1

This ten week course will introduce you to some of the skills needed to communicate better with other people. The classes will include work to help you gain self - awareness and build your confidence.
Successful completion will give you a college certificate and a key skills qualification

Course Content
You will undertake practical classroom activities which aim to build your confidence and self awareness.
By working with others in the group you will achieve a key skills qualification.
How will I be assessed?
This course will be assessed by writing a weekly journal, claiming evidence against set criteria and participation in classroom activities.
What can I do next?
Successful candidates may be able to progress to a Level 2 Counselling Skills course validated by NCFE.
Other people may wish to undertake further key skill qualifications.
There may also be opportunities to join volunteer courses.
