Founded in 1998 by a small number of ordinary people who wanted to provide the best in terms of education and training, the college has grown in terms of courses offered and student population. Today, there are over 50 courses to choose from and tuition fees are very affordable.

The major accreditation bodies in the UK are the British Council, the British Accreditation Council, and the Institute of IT Training (for information technology accreditation). These bodies have all accredited the College. Examinations and awarding bodies in the UK such as Oxford Cambridge & RSA Examinations board (OCR), City & Guilds, LCCIEB, the British Computer Society (BCS) and Edexcel have also accredited the City College of Technology.

Industry IT leaders such as Microsoft Corporation, Pearson Vue and Certiport have partnership programmers with us. The college is a leading examination provider, ranging from GCSE's, A and AS levels to computer based testing systems for Information Technology Certifications.
Recognised Courses

The College provides the very best in education and training. All courses are recognized national qualifications which lead to higher education and employment. Degree courses are the University of London - External Degree programmers. Secretarial courses are from OCR, LCCIEB and City & Guilds. Information Technology courses are from Microsoft Corporation, OCR, CIW, CISCO, COMPTIA and BCS. And so on.......

In the last 8 years, we have recorded a 98% success rate on all externally assessed examinations. There is continuous monitoring and reviewing of our standards in line with fast technological advancement and change. Accreditation bodies inspect us regularly in order to maintain standards.
