Introduction:
Different customers require different approaches. This module considers the buying decisions you make in your business, the product and services you offer, how you price your product and how you identify the impact these have on your business.

Study Mode & Location:
This is a 20 hour course carried out from home via Distance Learning. Preston College, St. Vincent's Road, Fulwood, PRESTON, PR2 8UR.

Course Content:
During this course you will study:

  • Customer profiles
  • Products to be stocked
  • Where to source suitable product lines
  • Selecting products from the range available
  • How customers make purchasing decisions
  • Unique selling points
  • The nature of competition


Assessment:
At the end of this course students must complete an online test consisting of 40 multiple choice answers. This will be carried out at Preston College (there is an option for the test to be done in our workplace - please ask for more details).

You will need to have an informal interview with an Adult Admissions Adviser.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.
