Course Description
The Advanced Diploma is the most widely recognised postgraduate, post experience qualification in the field of management. Managers who complete the qualification are not only able to do their current job more successfully but are better prepared, in terms of knowledge, skills and confidence, for promotion to their next position.
A high degree of motivation is expected and the emphasis of the course is building on competencies and knowledge developed in the Professional Diploma (or equivalent) and its application at a strategic management level. A one year programme, attendance is typically evenings and weekends with a two day weekend residential. Assessment is by a number of internally set
assignments. The qualification can also be studied by distance learning.

A relevant degree, HNC/D, Professional Diploma in Management (CMS) or equivalent, supported by appropriate experience
Applicants are normally aged over 22 as it is unlikely they will have acquired sufficient experience to benefit from the course content prior to this
Applicants 25 or over, without the necessary academic qualifications, with at least four years experience in a post of professional or administrative responsibility may be admitted, subject to interview.
