DBS information could include: Details of criminal records Information about a person’s inclusion on children’s or adult’s lists Other relevant information held by a local police force or Government Body Or state that there is no information The cost of a DBS check is £44. You will be invited into The Aviation Academy in the summer to complete the DBS application form as you are required to provide a selection of documents to confirm your identity and current address (further details will be sent to you in the summer 2016). Without a DBS check you won't be allowed to enrol on your course - so you must attend a session in the summer to complete the application form.

Equipment and resources used

The Aviation industry requires very high levels of personal presentation - you are expected to meet these standards. You will be required to wear professional attire whilst at the academy eg black suit or shift dress, tie or scarf. (Ties and scarves may be purchased from The Aviation Academy).

For practical workshop sessions you will be expected to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
