About the course
This is a course for students who want to study key pictures from art history and learn about how they are made, composed and why they are considered important. It is a course highly suitable for: students studying at access or pre exam based courses, those who wish to underpin their own artistic practice with more art history knowledge or exhibition visitors who want a better background knowledge of the subject. Artists included: Giotto, Piero della Francesca, Manet, Georges Seurat, Picasso, Matisse, Francis Bacon.
After this course: Preparation for GCSE or equivalent of development of art portfolio content.
