Who is the qualification for?

It is designed for barpersons working in on-licensed premises in England and Wales.

What does the course cover?

The qualification comprises two units - the Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing, and Customer and Drinks Service . In order to achieve the qualification candidates must successfully complete both units. Information about each unit is given under their separate titles.

What does the candidate get to say he/she has passed?

A certificate for the Professional Barperson's Qualification is awarded by BIIAB for candidates who have successfully passed both units.
