What is it?

The Wine Retail Certificate is designed to help licensees capitalise on the growing demand for wine in pubs and restaurants.

The course aims to de-mystify wine and provides a practical framework to increase wine sales.

How is it assessed?

By examination. Candidates sit a one-hour multiple choice examination.

How long is the course leading to the examination?

The course comprises two days of training.

These can be delivered separately or consecutively depending on the preference of candidate/deliverer.

The Wine Retail Certificate - a national qualification awarded by the BIIAB in association with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
