Business school offers CPD (Continuing Professional Development) modules with workshops about CV writing, interviews preparation, communication and presentation skills and many more. Moreover, there are employment fairs on campus few times per year. CU also has nice and friendly career staff that helps with CV writing and job seeking. What is more, there is Centre for Global Engagement which helps with placements and becoming global graduates. Teachers are really kind and supportive, they respond to emails very promptly and are always willing to explain things more than once. Schedule is good as one day of the week is always free. CU has a really nice library that it's open 24/7. Also Engineering Building and William Morris Building have nice rooms and the stuff working there is friendly. The Hub is a great place as well. All buildings are really close, which makes it easy to get around.

The university were good, staff are nice, the facilities were great. University faculties are pretty good, especially is the sport membership, I did tennis and the times they have managed were great. Clubs and societies were people who interest, perhaps there hobbies, there are different types of societies like sport societies, drama etc

This Business Administration course runs in 2016/17.
Do you enjoy organising people, understanding what is happening and keeping your head when everyone else is losing theirs? This degree course will prepare you for your ideal career in business administration and management.
Our Business Administration course offers a flexible degree with a choice of study options and an emphasis on professional skills development, which can help make you an attractive prospect to businesses. The course has been designed for those with a passion for business and an aptitude for management, and will help you to develop expertise in strategy, team-building, leadership, general problem-solving and research.
If you choose this course you will benefit from:
- Coventry Business School’s current membership of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS);
- links with a wide variety of employers over a number of years;
- guest lectures from professionals and industry experts, which in the past have included representatives from NHS Trusts and Capita;

Accreditations and memberships shall be renewed in accordance with the relevant bodies’ standard review process and subject to the University maintaining the same high standards of course delivery.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
Your study will be based on real business practice and not just the theory. Case studies will be used to give you an in-depth understanding of how the different parts of an organisation support one another. As you progress through year two and your final year, you will develop your ability to research independently and understand how your growing specialisation can enhance your learning and future career.
HOW WILL THIS COURSE BE TAUGHT?Your course will be based on a series of lectures, with associated seminars and workshop practical classes. In addition, your personal tutor will review and discuss your progress with you and will be available for advice.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?An estimated percentage breakdown of how your final grade is assessed is as follows: formal examinations 40%; coursework, tests, essays 30%; practical or project work 10%; group work etc.10%; presentations, posters etc.10%.

TEACHING CONTACT HOURSIn a typical week you will have up to 14 contact hours of teaching and this will break down as:
Personal tutorial/small group teaching: 1 hour tutorial on a regular basis
Medium group teaching: 5 hours of workshops or seminars each week
Large group teaching: 8 hours of lectures each week
Personal study: 25 hours of study and revising in your own time each week
