Course Description:
Who is the course for?
CNC Programming Setters and those with experience in CNC Programming or City and Guilds Programme certificate.

Description Breakdown:
This course is modular based and involves a higher level of manual programming in both milling and turning coupled with an insight into modern manufacturing techniques. Pathtrace (Computer Aided Part Programming) EDGCAM Vision 6.5 software is used giving the student hands on experience of a CAPP system. Components are drawn and machined using the computer and downloaded to the machine tool using the RS 232 link.
