About this course
As the demand for coffee shops grow, so too has the need for well trained and skilled professionals who can serve coffee properly. Customers don’t just want a regular coffee; terms such as Latte, Caramel Macchiato and Americano are commonplace in coffee shops, restaurants and hotels throughout the UK.
This introductory course will provide you with the necessary skills to carry out your work as a barista or any other profession in the hospitality industry and your role involves making and serving coffee to customers. Through studying this course, you will learn about the different types of coffee, how it is produced and packaged and the different techniques used to produce a variety of coffees.
This course is designed for anyone working or seeking to work in the hospitality industry. This could include coffee shops, restaurants, hotels etc. It is also ideally suited for anyone to gain a further understanding of the wonderful world of coffee.

The course is presented as a slide show and the content is broken down into simple sections. At the end of each part there are some multiple-choice questions that allow you to test your knowledge before moving on to a new section. Upon completing the course you will need to take the Quiz, which consists of 30 multiple-choice questions. You will need to get a minimum of 21 questions right to pass the course and receive your certificate, which you will be able to download. The course takes approximately 2 hours to complete, although there is no time limit and you can do it in your own time and in stages.immediately in pdf format. After passing the course you can immediately download your pdf certificate, which is fully accredited by the CPD.
