What can this course offer me?
The Creative and Media diploma will offer you the chance to work across a range of creative areas including art, craft, design, photography, film, media, animation, advertising, sound, TV and print based publications. You will be introduced to a wide range of techniques, processes and practices as well as studying the creative industries within a critical and contextual framework.

What will I learn?
There will be 'live' projects set and you will work as an individual practitioner as well as part of a team of fellow students. Much of your learning will be through experiencing real situations which will involve planning and putting your creative work into practice. You will also undertake a minimum of 10 days work experience.

In addition to the vocational aspects of the course you will also learn about a range of creative industries in their historical context. You will have the opportunity to produce a personal investigation for one of the units which will allow you to demonstrate your research skills and your ability to look critically at the work of creative practitioners.

What Makes a good Creative and Media student?
